Modern Russian Partizan Oversuits - Take Two
Hello all,
This is the second version of my custom, hand sewed Russian oversuit in the Partizan camoflauge. It has changed a lot from my first version, as I re-vamped the sewing template, pattern, and much more. All comments are welcomed. I am still figuring some things out. These are for sale, so if you are interested, please PM me, as I don't want the thread to turn into a sale thread. Please enjoy, and thank you for looking! *DISCLAIMER* The first four photos of the new uniform are taken with first generation BBI bodies, so please excuse the bagginess. The last two are taken with the BBI G3.5 bodies, so they fit much better *DISCLAIMER*

And here is my new and improved version of the Russian Partizan oversuit

Again, thanks for looking!
Regards,
Wes

Wes - great work! The pants look a bit baggy in the first shots, but just about right in the last ones. Did he get a belt...?

Re: Modern Russian Partizan Oversuits - Take Two
Thanks Ryan! Yeah, I know. I had to use the first gen BBI bodies for the models, and they are a bit... skinny. The last pics were taken with a BBI G3.5, so there's a lot more to fill out the uniform. They look much much better all geared up, trust me. Actually, I decided not to go with a belt on these, instead, I went with a type of draw-string approach.

Re: Modern Russian Partizan Oversuits - Take Two
That explains things immensely. I'd say stick to the 3.5's LOL.

Oh, I know. I went on vacation today, and this was all I was able to grab! Unfortunately, I only have two of the 3.5's anyways, and those are my favorite!

Wes these suits look awesome! I like the baggy look. I can't wait for the next pattern. What a great addition this will be to my collection.

Thanks Carlos! I agree with Ryan though, they look REALLY baggy on those tiny BBI bodies! Lol. But if you end up using one, the gear balances it out nicely. Oh, and Carlos... the next one is Flora

Nicely done bro, fits well to bulky bodies like G.3. Is it you sew them yourself? how did you made the camo pattern and what type of clothe you used? thnxz!

Re: Modern Russian Partizan Oversuits - Take Two
Wes I have to agree with Carlos. I think the oversuits look awesome and I like the baggy look as well. I would rather they be a bit baggy than a bit tight any day. Also oversuits are supposed to be baggy because they are meant to be worn over other clothing. If you look at pics of Russian soldiers though you will often find pictures of them wearing oversuits with nothing but a t-shirt under them and in those cases they tend to look baggy. I like the BBI G1 bodies quite a bit because of the more diminutive stature of them compared to some of the other hulking bodies out there. I like having some 5'9"-5'10" guys in my collection.

Thanks crisologo! I did sew these myself. They're completely hand sewed and I did not use a sewing machine. The camo pattern I made from scratch using GIMP, which is a free version of a photoshop-like program. I had to take the real pattern and trace each layer to make the patter I used for these. The cloth I used is cotton. It was ordered from a company called spoonflower. Hope this helps!

Thanks guys! I seriously cannot wait to see what you do with them! I agree about the bagginess Kenneth, those BBI bodies just magnify the bagginess a bit. Whatever body you put the uni on, it will be baggy. Next is KLMK oversuits?! Lol
