It's great to see this kind of product in the market! Among the 4 colors, I like grey the most.

Anyway, my concern is the flexibility of the armor (especially the thigh's and torso's) to go well with action poses. This may be a weakness of the product as the demo pics are all in stiff standing poses. I also find it is strange without a shin armor, while there is one at the back. Need to see the final product to judge.

I think maybe, they may have assembled it wrong for the promo photos . . . . ???

The other weirdness is that the helmet is just kinda resting on top of the head. It looks like the Emerson head under there, and you can tell by the proportion of the collar on the chest piece that the helmet gives it a 'robot head' look, and it's not worn like a helmet. It's certainly a unique concept, but I think it needs a little bit more time in the oven, so to speak.

Apart from female Commander Shepard, I see the Halo armor in there as well - but those guns are definately from Mass Effect.

I'm liking the white set, quite Tronish, a male set would be nice and shin guards are really needed, looks very unbalanced with out them.

I think the upper leg movement is severely limited and not sure how well the thigh wrap around armor will fit the common female body since it needs to cover the butt, looks to be made for a slim body type. The helmet doesn't flow well with the suit, looks awkward.

I think this set does look awesome but I agree with your concerns. If you look at the back you can see where the suit is bunched up around the elbows and knees, so you should be able to move those, but the rest of the suit is skin tight. It would be nice if they gave a pic of just the zip up suit.

The fetishist in me thinks this would work better with double sided tape on the armor pieces and no black suit at all, as impractical as that sounds

UPDATE and a few answers for everyone:

As soon as I got the pictures on sunday...I mentioned to FGC that they needed to show the armor set in "action" poses for everyone. They are going to take some additional shots to show this because I know, me personally, I feel the same as everyone else.
I have seen this set in its stages of production and I did push for articulation...articulation...articulation...that is how it will be used and I do think everyone will be happy in the end.

Here are some additional specs on the set:
BODYSUIT: stretch spandex with a faux leathery appearance.
zipper closure in the back(so it is hidden)

BOOTS: These are higher heel lug soles and they are VERY similiar to the
PHICEN Selena lug sole from what I have seen.(nice touch to
keep it feminine looking)
The bootfeet do have a ball and stem in them as well to fit Triad,
PHICEN, TTL and the CG bodies.

ARMOR ADJUSTMENTS: As you can see, the armor pieces each have thin
elastic straps for easy fitting on most bodies.
They even have a metal "hook" end on the elastic
for us who have bigger hands and dont want to
fuss with an adjustable buckle..LOL

FITTING TO BODIES: This set is shown on a Triad ALPHA female again and
I would imagine FGC will keep this format consistent.
It will fit Triad ALPHA, PHICEN, TTL and CG bodies.

HELMET: The helmet is actually functional to go on and off a standard
female headsculpt. Looks like they used EMERSON under it for
the photos..(seeing the red hair)

I think that answers all of the important questions....if anyone can think of any, let me know and I will do my best to find the answers.

I love these sets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It definitely is something different and completely bashable for other things. I wonder if the armor bits will work on a MALE HT true type ? Of course it has a female chest plate but that I could fashion up myself and would be easier than making the whole set. I will see if I can find that out...if anyone wants to know.

This is the Mass Effect 2 armor design. With the full masked helmet and the additional colors I think it would work better for multi player characters. It's just missing the multi player belt and shin armor. Not to say that it wouldn't make a good fem shep I just see more multi player possibilities.

I'm liking the grey set the best. Interested, but will wait for the "action" shots to see if this is something I can really use.
