Exclamation Russian M32 TARZAN Combat Vest & AK74M (modernized) WIP

Although I'm not accostumed to post any type of WIP's, and I already showed this to some of my Russian-group-comrades in here, the reason behind which I'm breaking this rule is simply due to the CMToys' most recent release, that's it. I just wanted to share something "alike" of an item (the M22 vest that comes with it) that it will be surely pick up, therefore used in future Russian bashes, by some of us very soon, hopefully. And btw, I'm not talking about my own bash, but the WIP itself only, cause I actually started making this vest around a week before of CMT's release. Strange coincidence for a quite rare item, isn't it?

First, I chose as base for this vest the classic BBI M21 Tarzan. Then, I changed the zipper which was too large on the original one, new grenade pouches were added, different & more realistic buckles (not shown yet) as well, the magazine pouches flaps were enlogated too, and finally I repainted the whole thing with a "suspicious" acrylic color.

The Ak74M shown below, and I want to emphasize on that "M" letter, I think it has never been made before. Of course everybody knows that there're lots of Ak74 models in the market released by 21stC, BBI, HT, Zacca (although this one is actually an Ak103, not a AK109), Red Horse and Armoury among others, but if you take a close look at those designs, none of them has ever made with a full folding stock,(meaning a non-skeleton type) which among other minor features, is the most important characteristic of the "M" (modernized) series. If you mind, please note that I used spare parts to make it which I consider the "best" ones, from some of the manufacturer's rifles mentioned above such as the barrel from Armoury's, 21C's gas tube, BBI receiver, handguard and frontal sight post and finally for the folding stock, I took the Zacca's "AK109". Also, some of the control buttons are scratchbuilt. More details will be added on both items and of course, some weathering as well, before I post the entire work of a Russian Vityaz/Lynx/SOBR?? operator...

P.S.: forgive me about the pics cause they suck.

Looks damn promising so far. Really well thought out in many aspects, especially the AK.

Looking forward to see how this turns out.

A few observations and advise..
First off, they both look great and cant wait to see them on the finished bash.
Angle the stock higher on the 74M. When folded the center should hit the lower part of the reciever where the latch is at. All Izhmash "Century series" AKs,which the 74M is actually a part of,will have the optic rail. It will rest inside of the stock when folded. The gas block looks to be the 45 degree AKM version, the 90 would be correct for this model.

First of all, thanks, I really appreciate your feedback. It is true that I could angle up a bit more the stock, around 1-1.5mm, so it can be folded in a higher position towards the left side. I can make it happen, lets see. As for the rail, it is true too, but in this case, I'm planning to fit it with an optic, so it would be unnecesary set a rail. The entire optic's base will cover all over the mentioned rail. That's why I didn't include one. As for the gas block, well you're 50% right this time, cause despite of its "pipe'' doesn't have an exactly 90 degree shape, it is totally different compared to a "pure-45 degree type" AKM gas block. In fact, like I said above, I used the 21c's Ak74 gas block, which IMO has the best gas block design of all, though it seems isn't perfect. I'll make minor adjustments to it anyways
