I didn't know the FAL was considered a LMG.

funniest part is, they probably won't correct that mistake. It will still be called a "gunner" upon release.

Re: DML:British Machine Gunner, Royal Marines. Falklands War
They've already done a machine gunner:
DML:British Royal Marine - GPMG Gunner - Falklands War 1982
This is a nice rifleman though.
But it does seem that while DML increases their prices they are decreasing the amount of gear included. I mean, compare this new series of figures to Graham of a few years back and all the gear he had.

I totally agree Nigel - the kit seems minimal to say the least for the price they are asking!

You'll have some work to do to it to make it an Aussie L1A1 circa vietnam. New forsestock, woodgrain the butt and pistolgrip, replace DML's ficticious Cocking handle for a start. it is a very lice late model SLR with the exception of the cocjing handle which looks like none I have ever seen on either an SLR or FAL.
I wish RMC would re release their excellent SLR set
Cheers
Al

Is this definitely a new release by Dragon? You haven't just taken one of their other Falklands figures and stuck an SLR on him? If this is genuinely new, and he's just accidentally been labelled as a machine gunner, then I can't wait!

Re: DML:British Machine Gunner, Royal Marines. Falklands War
Excellent. I was hoping they would reissue the L1A1. I'm going to have to pick up a few loose if/when this guy gets parted out.
I've already got Graham, so I don't have much interest in these new Falklands figures DML are putting out. It's great to see that they are revisiting the era though!
