Re: DAM,US ARMY,1st SFOD-D,Marksman
Finally opened up mine and knock on wood, nothing major in the way of QC problems that I can see so far.
One of my gloves was not stitched too well, so was really difficult to get on. Then it got torn when I was trying to put it over the thumb, but I guess it's pretty minor so far.

Re: DAM,US ARMY,1st SFOD-D,Marksman
Just from my own personal (and admittedly limited) experience, this is the first military figure where I needed to use the foam inserts. The helmet doesn't fit the head well at all without futzing.
Still, it's a great figure. I'm liking it quite a bit.

Re: DAM,US ARMY,1st SFOD-D,Marksman
I don't know if it's my big hands or what, but I can't get the gloves on any of the Dam figures I except one and I thought I was going to die of frustration....it was such a pain in my a-- that I don't won't to try with the others so unless I can bribe my wife into taking a try at it I am going to leave the rest glove-less....I tried for an hour on the second figure with no such luck the only thing I manage was a king size head ache from frustration....if anyone think they have a good tip on putting these Dam (pun intended) gloves on I would greatly appreciate it....

That Shughart figure is probably the coolest 1:6 BHD figure ever made. I recall a time a few years ago where Black Hawk Down parts were very hard to come by.

Re: DAM,US ARMY,1st SFOD-D,Marksman
Years? more like months, if it wasn't for DAM doing the whole line, I still would be looking for correct Pro-tech helmets and vests!
Then DAM comes on and BAM!, instant BHD awesomeness.

Re: DAM,US ARMY,1st SFOD-D,Marksman
I love the Dam figures and in my opinion they are the best thing that has happened in the 1/6 world in a long time....great figures at a reasonable price. Now that I have given them their props...my only gripe is I wish they would do away with the gloves and make the bendy hand gloves for the figures...maybe even give us two sets of hands, one with gloves and ones without the gloves...I don't know about the rest of you, but trying to put those gloves on is a aggravation I don't need....I have four Dam figure and only one has the gloves on...as I said earlier unless I can bribe my wife to take a shot they will remain glove less. I am afraid that if I attempt it again I will become so frustrated and break something...and as a friend say "it isn't that crucial!" So Dam for the sake of my health please give us a set of hands with the gloves made on them...please!!!!

Do you soak the gloves in water before putting on? That helps some.

Top tip
Tweezers , they never fail.
You need to have grown up with the old skool TS figures to be classed as a gloved expert.

The DAM figures are unweathered as in clothing and equipment , the guns have very slight weathering.

Re: DAM,US ARMY,1st SFOD-D,Marksman
Hi Folks...I thought I would lend my 0.2cents to the review of these figures. Overall I was pretty happy with the figures...my biggest issues seems to be with the shoddy craftsmanship on some of the accesories such as the sling on the M14 (all the clips holds the sling together came apart), the velcro on the pouches is very poorly done and the gloves came apart trying to put them on. Knee pads completely came apart...not sure why they would try to velco the knee pad caps on versus just stitching or glueing. The radio boom mike was broken and had to be glued back in place. Love the headsculpt, most of the gear is really well done...not sure it is worth $114...but still a great addition to the shelf considering how much I enjoy BHD.
Cheers...Romeo
