Re: Happy Fathers Day
Mine's been chaos and duties intermingled, but my son's home for the weekend, and I'll see my daughter today.
I'll remember my dad, as I do every day, and see what has become from him and his father before him, as well as my mother's father and his father, and all those before.
It is a thing not to be taken too lightly, fatherhood.
May we all do our best, and our days be more joy than sorrow.

Re: Happy Fathers Day
Happy Father's Day to all you fathers. My wife and I just had a baby girl on Wednesday. She had major complications and has been in the NICU since. She has made huge strides in improvement since then and may be home tonight or tomorrow. Appreciate your children. They are blessings.

Re: Happy Fathers Day
All the best to Fathers everywhere. Had a great day with my Girls and to top it all watched the Olympic flame come through my town. Great seeing so many different types of UK Police. Beat bobbiee, mounted section, armed response, traffic officers etc.. Would love to see figures of them.
All the best also to da Bronx on the new arrival and best wishes to Mom from the UK.

Re: Happy Fathers Day
I hope you all had a good one.
I thought I'd tell you a little about my Fathers Day as we don't make a great, huge deal of it in my family.
About 2 p.m., I came in the house from working in the yard. There was a bag hanging from the corner of the garage door with "happy Fathers Day" on a hand written card.
My boys, 19 and 16 had gotten me three disc golf discs and a bag. Later, the three of us went and played 18 holes.
I have to tell you, that was a helluva lot of fun. The best part about the whole thing is that it was 100% their idea - no help from Mom (not that that's a bad thing...).
It's my sincerest hope that all the dads here had as good a day.

Re: Happy Fathers Day
I hope you all the fathers here had a greay father's day, congratulations.
Since this is the first father day for me since my father passed away it wasn't exactly a happy day for me, but it turns out that my mom dressed one of the nude bodies I still have at her house, bearded headsculpt with a civilian outfit, and sat the little guy on a chair she made by adding fabric to what I think it was an opened tuna can, I saw it when I went to visit her, I added a scarf and we had a good laugh and I felt better, too bad I didn't take pics but I'll do it today.
