Yikes. Just got mine today, and it wont be opened til after a couple of more figures. Makes me nervous about the impending two preorders.

Re: DAM you DAM!!
Aaron - are these flaws that much of a deal breaker? Could you post some detail pics of the QC issues...?

Theyre not deal breakers...Just frustrating..You pay a buck and a quarter and you get a handful of issues...I guess I just expect more for my money.

Re: DAM you DAM!!
Yeah well DAM don't seem to have much in the way of quality control because if you remember, my DFC 'Team Leader' came straight out of his box with two LEFT LEGS and two right-handed gloves.
I got the body replaced free of charge but I had to buy another set of loose gloves at my own expense.
That's what annoys me the most, the fact I ended up paying extra to replace something that shouldn't have needed to be replaced to begin with.

Re: DAM you DAM!!
Obviously they dont know how 1/6th customer feedback works...especially when it comes to forums such as this one...i had three DAM figures on my buying list... not now though....if a manufacturer puts out sloppy products i drop them until i read good stuff not bad....Toys City are in the same position but i have read better things from them recently so perhaps i might try another one soon.

I'll give you a dollar and a firm handshake, but in all seriousness its a shame they have such quality issues becuase the figures they release seem to be highly desired.

Re: DAM you DAM!!
I've collected all the DAM rangers and Dboys to date and I've had minor QC problems with all of them - but they are minor problems and I'm pretty used to having the same minor problems with other makers figures so it doesn't really bother me - the end product looks just as good.
I think anyone who passes on these figures just because of a few little QC problems are missing out on some of the best military figures I've seen for a while

Re: DAM you DAM!!
I'll agree that the figures look excellent and that I'm glad I got the Delta Marksman and Support Gunner, but these QC issues are enough to be a concern with me. Most other manufacturers (not all though) have a pretty good system of fixing QC problems. When TC's first run of the Geronimo figure turned up glaring QC problems with paint apps and broken items, they stopped the presses, offered free replacements to all customers who had purchased from that first wave, and immediately went to work on rectifying the issues.
By contrast, this is the third or fourth DAM I've read about where there were some glaring QC issues out of the box. Maybe they're working so fast that they're not able to adequately plan for QC issues? I don't know, but it doesn't not speak well for them as a manufacturer.
If they can get these QC issues fixed, I'd buy from them again, but for now, these two Deltas will be my only boxed purchase from them.

Re: DAM you DAM!!
I feel your pain, gentlemen. I've backed way off on boxed figure collecting and am focusing on loose parts buys for my backlog of projects - however - I completely agree that when you market yourself as a "collectible" and charge the higher prices then the QC needs to be there no matter who you are.
I wouldn't lose hope though. Look at Soldier Story for example. I recall they had their QC issues with earlier releases and look at them now - some of the best tailoring on the market. Let's hope DAM picks up their game the same way. They seem to have their head in the right space design wise and have really done some interesting stuff.

This is the support rifleman this time.
I added a picture of the kneepad. The separation from the velcro is easily fixed.I ve had this problem with thses since Toy Soldier's versions. But the pin on the upper right is gone.I searched the box and didnt find it.Kinda difficult to attach the kneepad.

Re: DAM you DAM!!
Ah, yeah, it might be salvageable if it had just the miss-glued velcro, but the missing peg/pin is going to be a hassle to fix.
Still, it's not a complete bait and switch like other companies right? just a sloppily put together figure with good materials, instead of promising heaven on earth and delivering a crap sandwich

Re: DAM you DAM!!
Dont have the same issues as Aaron, but i was wondering about the loops on the bottom of the vest. Are they supposed to fit the belt? Only the back two loops have enough of a space.

if your talking about the marksmen you have to actually take the green belt apart for it to fit through the vest.
