CMToys Muscle Body Photo Review by godofcat (Not Sure If Worksafe?)
More from the "IT CAME FROM BBICN FILE!". Note, I did NOT write this review (that was godofcat), I am only translating. Also note: I am not sure if the overly gratuitous shots of the body's butt are work appropriate, so use some caution here (or do it while you're on break, like me!)
Box shot:
Upper Body
Back
Glutes
Bend Test
The hands are fully poseable and have metal wires inside, making them durable and capable of holding their position easily. They are also readily capable of holding objects, like this duck.
However, the waist is pretty immobile. You can bend it MAYBE 20 degrees max.
Hands use standard Hot Toys pegs, so you can easily replace them with many brands.
The feet are larger than normal, so you might have trouble fitting them into shoes. However, they do come with a ball joint, so you can easily replace them if you want boots.
Geared up.

Hmm, he reminds me a bit of Stretch Armstrong. I'd be more inclined to settle for known materials like one finds on KP and HT.
I don't trust that rubber to be entirely durable

I'm less worried about the rubber being durable than how well it will "age". Rubber is notorious for cracking after all.

Hmm... not convinced, and I reckon it's a little expensive.

Looks like they sorted the 'hunched' shoulders that were on the prototype.

Re: CMToys Muscle Body Photo Review (Not Sure If Worksafe?)
Interesting... Almost a lil bit of hx repeating itself...[HT Gen. I Muscular Body] Of course this demonstrates 10X the articulation of that one but as mentioned above overtime how will the material hold up.. I have 10 or more of the Hot Muscular bodies I II and III. The ones not in use are kept in sealed baggies with those lil silacone packs. No visiable breakdown or cracks. but of course they are not in use.. Heavan knows what the ones I have use now look like under the clothes or more importantly what would happen if I should attempt to change the pose.. This Body looks good. But I'll wait till those braver than I buy it first then see what they have to say about it.. One thing Why the Chip n Dales booty... lol lol. You get the Fulll Monty with this one... LOL, LOL

Did they add "Junk" to him thus the rubber duck? Only asking because obviously you wouldn't need to block that area out with 99.9% of other figures.

Re: CMToys Muscle Body Photo Review (Not Sure If Worksafe?)
This looks pretty good, but with KP, ACI and even HT having more durable muscle bodies for less than $50, I don't see this selling well. There is a reason why HT switched over to hard plastic muscle bodies.

Re: CMToys Muscle Body Photo Review (Not Sure If Worksafe?)
The Leg poses are awesome. Looks like a great substitute for the 300 body!
It is not that expensive here 300 HKD or 40 USD each! That only a few bucks more than a HT TT but no head is included.
In some of the photos, it looks like the hands + legs are a different tone than the body? Can you take shots under sunlight?

I don't reckon they did, otherwise there'd be a bit of a bulge under the uniform.

As I stated earlier, I WISH I could claim credit for this LOL. I appropriated it from BBICN and translated the review for consumption here. I thought it looked like an interesting product and we haven't seen a review of it yet on OSW.

Yep the stretched rubber joints look horrible to me and the skin bunching on this 'Muscle' body is a lot worse than the rubber skinned femme figures.
(More rubber material is used to bulk-up those muscles I suppose?)
It looks really good standing in a normal upright pose and the arms aren't too bent but that kinda limits it.
Then there is the question of how long the rubber will actually hold-up over time that nobody can answer yet.
Nah, this body may appeal to some folks but not this little black duck.

But yes, I will probably buy one anyday.

 Depends on where you live.
That $40 figure will end up costing me anywhere from $65 to $80, once the shipping/postage has been added to the price.

Re: CMToys Muscle Body Photo Review by godofcat (Not Sure If Worksafe?)
To say nothing of the exchange rate.. If its cash and carry.. 40.00 Cool.. But if its coming from the Orient Shipping is an issue and if they're dealing with that GBP thats an auto increase.. aaannd the lil extras Paypal hits you with....Now thats an entirely different situation.. Those of us on the west Coast get a lil Love sometimes because we can walk into EBT or take a nice drive down the coast to Point Blank Toys..[ Solid Cats] and Cash and carry. I miss out on a lot of relatively inexpensive items for that reason.. If my people dont carry it.. Or I cant trade for it once the novelty has worn off... I dont get it..

Re: CMToys Muscle Body Photo Review by godofcat (Not Sure If Worksafe?)
That's pretty impressive range of motion for a figure of this type. It actually comnpares pretty well to my KP02 (the carded one) and my HT carded muscle guy (was that TTM-19? Friday night and I'm pretty burned out...)
I don't usually use the farthest extent that an arm or leg will bend, and for the few times I do, I can always work around things like skin bunching or weird looking joints. CM must be using a pretty strong skeleton to hold these poses against the thick rubber skin.
As for price, I think $40 is pretty fair. I doubt a manufacturer can take PayPal and various postal rates into account when they produce something. Several of the US based retailers I use have these up for pre-order for MSRP so I'll probably get one. My other two muscle guys are going to need some competition.

Looks great, not disappointed at all, although they do seem to have focused on perfecting his butt which makes me worry that my girlfriend will secretly steal my figures!lol.

The reviewer I was reading from said it's limited, maybe 20 degrees in either direction.
