Re: Rick Deckard: Blade Runner
Wow.. Outstanding job
He looks stunningly lifelike and very faithful to Ford and Deckard

Re: Rick Deckard: Blade Runner
Looks great, nice work on the clothes and HS. However, he doesn't look like ford. His stunt double perhaps. Still, a killer rendition.

Re: Rick Deckard: Blade Runner
Thanks guys! Yeah, I know the sculpt is off on the likeness to Ford, but still think it's a good sculpt in a purely technical sense. Worth the paint up, imho.

Re: Rick Deckard: Blade Runner
I see Ford in there and most importantly, he IS a great looking DECKARD!
Topnotch painting!

Looks great Roy...love the repaint. I agree the sculpt is a bit off, but it still looks good to me.

Re: Rick Deckard: Blade Runner
I see a little bit of Ford, Christopher Lambert and Thomas Jane when I look at the head sculpt alone, but overall, its a fantastic Deckard. No mistake there.

You know its funny, show a picture of any headsculpt and you will get a 100 differnent responces on who they look like...
I think this head looks just like Ford as Deckard...excellent repaint and job of putting him together....

Re: Rick Deckard: Blade Runner
Very fine work.
The HS bears a damn good likeness of Ford and the repaint is excellent.

People look at my 5 years younger brother and they aren't sure if its him or me, when in fact, we barely look alike at all!

Re: Rick Deckard: Blade Runner
Very nice,
I do think though that the coat isn't quite the right colour. I seem to recall that it was more of a russet colour though I've never been able to find any reference to back this up as it was always too dark. There is the daylight scene at the end of one cut, but, I can't remember whether he wore it in that scene.
Apart from that this is a really nice rendition.
CHEERS!

Re: Rick Deckard: Blade Runner
very nice work. I'm planning to work on one as well later. Currently Waiting for HT Indy to recast head (hopefully a good starting point for some facial features...?)

Re: Rick Deckard: Blade Runner
Repaint looks great. I would have bought the hell out of a figure that looked that good at retail.

Re: Rick Deckard: Blade Runner
Thanks much, guys! Glad you like the work done on this figure.
I'd love to do a Roy Batty figure next; maybe I'll have a look at the Brothers Production figure and see if I like the headsculpt enough. I'm sure the clothing and gear are good. This is the figure I've been wanting since the film was released, though, so I'm very happy to have him finished and in the collection. To say I'm a fan of the film is an understatement. You've noticed my sig, perhaps? And I used to have a site for my figures that I called the "Nexus 6" site. Got the new model kit of the spinner....
Now I just have to build a spinner in 1/6. Wouldn't that be cool?
