That 417 isn't the same rifle shown in the sling pics.

Im liking the slings and the rifle thats pictured with the slings. The 417 doesn't look like the same rifle in the sling photos though there's alot of differences in them.

It looks similar to one of the LWRC 7.62 rifles, or a similar "fancy" re-chambered AR kit.

Like the AOR sling. Also that KAC rifle is nice.

Re: Toys City – 1:6 Tactical Sling Set A,b,c,d,e
Nice work on the slings, and really dig the HK417. I'm actually dying to get my hands on the 1:1 HK MR762 - the civilian version of the 417.
The SR25 is nice - I just picked up the Mk11 from the NSW set and was impressed by the quality, though still not up to SS standards.

Was thinking that too...could it be TC's first PMC? Since that rifle is not in use by any US Forces I know of. Or loose weapon set?
NikoNiko, I'm actually torn between getting a nice Centurion Arms MK12 Mod1 upper or going all out and getting a SCAR-H early next year...I did not even think about the HK762..so you just made the decision harder!!

Re: Toys City – 1:6 Tactical Sling Set A,b,c,d,e
hqpham - that's funny, as I am thinking about the SCAR 17s as well. I don't think the HK MR762 is out yet, and it will be pretty expensive when it does come out (assuming you can even find one). I would like to get my hands on one just to feel and shoot it. The SCAR 17s is pretty sweet - other than the louder bang of the bigger 7.62 round, it shoots much like a 5.56.
My friend just got a MR556 (civie HK416) and it's a sweet rifle, though a bit front heavy - I still prefer my LWRC. Speaking of which, I would love to make a 1/6 version of my rifle - the Daniel Defense rail on the new M4 from the SS 75th ranger comes the closest. Perhaps my next project (after I finish the half dozens of incomplete projects, that is).

Ninja-Viking is suppose to be molding the DD RIS II as we speak...and have you checked out the Colt CM901? I called them earlier this year and they said it will be available for the civilian market. I have 2 Colt black rifles already so I think I mihgt try something different on my next purchase..either .308 or a non-Colt AR or MK12 Colt CM901 on DefenseReview, 308 platform that will also shoot a 5.56 upper

OH SO LOATHSOME!
I just cut a DML SR-25 just so that I could add an LMT stock...
TTL EMC? sign me in!
(I allready have several single point slings from TTL, but a bunch of AOR ones would be nice)

I want that LBT 6094 - the one that came with the Mtn Ops SEAL didn't have the webbing in AOR1 material.

There was no bipod on the 417 that came with the CIA QRF figure, either. This rifle looks like identical to that one, except it has a bipod and the Leupold scope that was also on TC's recent Mk11. Both are improvements on the original, which was already pretty good IMO. The only complaint I had about it was that the TTL 417 didn't have the little pin that holds the rifle's upper to the lower, so it had a nasty habit of opening up at the hinge at inopportune times.
I might try to do a photo shootout between the tan version (which also came with a suppressor) and the HT HK417. Can't do the CIA QRF one because it's currently in pieces, awaiting me to get the time to finish my planned handguard/barrel swap with an SS HK416 to make a custom shorty HK417 and an M-27 IAR...

Re: Toys City – 1:6 Tactical Sling Set A,b,c,d,e
The HT one is abit out of scale..looks huge on a DML figure. I used it on my recent French SF sniper figure.

i have those figures. however i still think this one in particular bares a strong resemblance to the HT original. even the 7 holes on the side rails line up perfectly. perhaps not a replica but definitely very similar.

Well, they ARE based on the exact same 1:1 hardware, so similarities are to be expected...
