Wow I had some ideas for doing something with a Jobs figure, I might actually might pick this up if the price isn't silly like Apple products are!

Never have been able to figure out why there's partially eaten fruit on those products. For the prices you pay, the least they could do is give you the whole damn apple.

I don't think this is going to ever hit the market once Apple catches wind of it, given what happened to the last Steve Jobs action figure. It's definitely not going to make it out there with Apple logos and Steve's name on it because I'm going to bet money that it's not an authorized product and Apple gets really huffy about that kind of thing. The government of China (you know, where all those Apple manufacturing facilities are) is going to suddenly be much more sensitive to intellectual property issues when Apple leans on them for this one.
That's also a pretty ridiculous price for the fig and what you get for it. I expect him to come with a Soldier Story HK416 for that kind of money  . And who's making it, anyway? |

Not my thing, but I always do get a kick out of non-traditional figures. But I doubt this will see figure will hit the streets in its present incarnation - the apple trademarks/logos will need to be dropped lest they feel the wrath of Apple. It's not the figure or depiction of Jobs, but the use of Apple IP that is the real issue.

I'm thinking the complete opposite as you. I can't see anyone being interested in this other than a family member, friend of Mr Jobs or a high ranking Apple Executive. I don't see why the Apple logos would have any appeal to a typical "Action" figure collector. The Apple logos etc can only promote Apple's main product. So I'm thinking it is an Apple authorized commission.
