Re: DID-New Head
I know hair is difficult to achieve the right level of detail, but the rest of the portrait is so well done it sort of makes the hair pale in comparison. I guess it's not an issue if the figure is wearing head gear.

Thinking twice, it looks a lot to Nek's Dean Winchester sculpt too.

Re: DID-New Head
The most incredible thing of Did it is that they insist to produce HS with hair cuts that make almost imposible to wear a helmet or a cap.
And they are not alone making good HS, they should start to think about it.
Jaime.

With the figures they've released lately Fredrick Zoller was the first thing that came to my mind.

It does look quite a bit like him, except Michael Pitt doesn't have a butt chin like that.
Great sculpt though and actually wouldn't make a bad gangster from that era. Look great with the new ACI suit.

Re: DID-New Head
Put a mustache on him and paint his hair blonde and make that Princess Bride bash you know you always wanted.

Re: DID-New Head
I too think it's Joachim Peiper:
The hair, the chin, the fact that SS is making one

I think the headsculpt lacks Peiper's unibrow...........
Maybe it's the REAL Claus von Stauffenberg?

Re: DID-New Head
Their headsculpts and paints are some of my favorites lately, absolutely top notch. Too bad I hate the DiD bodies - time for some R+D there guys!

I just want to know where they get paint brushes thin enough to paint eyelashes...

Re: DID-New Head
Excellent sculpt, great eye detail. I'd say he looks American but the hairstyle is Germanic. Very nice though, and might get it loose

Absolutly true. The last Alain Delon (Marcel) is, for exemple, a true problem. A biautiful HS anyway but -unfortunatly- ridiculous with anything on.

Re: DID-New Head
Its Jensen Ackles with a quiff . There was a sculpt on a prototype body a short while ago that looked similar to this, but it had the short Ackles haircut.
