1/6 shop in Taipei?
(I did the search but not found anything)
I will be in Taipei very brief for 2 days in Mar. Just wonder if there are any 1/6 shops worth visiting. Please advise, thanks!

Search on "Guay Guay" (Yahoo, Taiwan) aka. G & G of Airsoft fame. They used to be the DML distributor for Taiwan; they still have some (quite a lot) of dead stock. There are quite a few locations. IMHO -- 2 days may not be enough unless it's 100% free time. Taipei isn't a big city, but these shops are few & far between unlike the way it is in Hong Kong. If you travel often to Hong Kong -- I'd wouldn't count on finding much in Taipei.

Hey Ray,
I didn't see really any 1/6 stuff per se when I was there last June, except for this airsoft place over at Shilin Night Market. The figures were mostly DML, and quite dated, circa 2001 kind. I take it that the shop must be what dudeman is talking about - Guay Guay. Other than the one at Shilin, I didn't see anything else. It's strange, considering that Taiwan has quite a few renown 1/6 customisers.

dudeman, Yujin, thanks guys! This is so surprising, as Yujin said, Taiwan has a lot of bashers and I have seen they had gathering. I will try to head down to G&G anyway if time allows.
So far I have been to a few cities I think HK is still the best Singapore is not bad (a bit expensive). Tokyo has a few nice shops but loose parts are very limited and very expensive.
Yes, I will be in HK for a week after Taipei

Bangkok used to have quite a few shops with good loosies, but I hadn't been there since 2003, when I went back in 2005 -- they are had shut down or moved. Taiwanese customizers prollly order their box sets. The shops they order from don't keep any extras so there are hardly any loosies. Many of them do their transactions on-line.
