Will these be as nice as the ones from Newline Miniatures? I couldn't bring myself to shell out $15 for a pair of Newline Miniatures Jump Boots, and they looked nicer in the pictures.
How much will these go for?

It poses the question, "If they're not cheaper than the NLM version, what's the point?"

You know, a set of BLACK Corcorans would be awesome. Those things are good for Vietnam to present day

The double buckle boots from the link just look plain weird. Kinda puffy and dumpy. Any word on pricing? It might be hard to be the outstanding quality of Newline and the $15 price which is worth every penny.

I have a couple of pairs of the NLM Miniatures boots and they look a tad better than these Toy Soldier versions, but both look better than the DiD boots (which is to be expected as the DiD soldier is going for $55 or so, I can't expect them to allocate 20-30% of their cost on boots).
If these were under $10 I think TS has a market, but if they're anymore than that I say go with NLM

Ok as the owner of 6 pair of Newline jump boots I'm here to tell you that 15.00 was and is a sweet deal for boots of this quality. Newline boots are true miracles in 1/6th scale and if you've been holding off, don't.
The ToySoldier Leather Holsters look amazing and I'll certainly be getting a number of them, but the TS boots are a different issue and one that can only be addressed when I have a pair in hand.

No, we really don't need anymore German stuff, but more WWII US leather and cloth items are a must!!! It's good to see a modern company do their part for WWII US, in this case more is better.....isn't it!?!

Well I got to agree with my esteemed colleague Hardcase. The NLM Cocorans are the cat's ... when it comes to boots. I picked up a pair on the suggestion of PD. And they ARE worth every penny.

I have to agree with Wimpie. I sure hope the modern production from TS does not slow down due to this.

"I sure hope the modern production from TS does not slow down due to this."
Y'know, back 6 years ago, when Dragon was putting out one figure, a WW2 figure, every month or so Dragon announced Michael Chan and Nigel and WW2 fans got all worried and panicked and started posting how they hoped that these modern figures wouldn't curtail production of WW2 figures. We all see what happened. WW2 production didn't slow down, it increased, and modern too for several years.
As long as Toy Soldier still sees interest in modern....let me re-word that, as long as Toy Soldier still sees SALES in modern sets they'll continue to make them. So everyone needs to back up the talk and buy the TS modern sets to show them there's a market for the stuff.

Well I hope theyre not exclusives.
I love NLM boots as well.
I Love to sniff them and get dizzy over that leather smell goodness.
Hopefully these boots (and other items) will be competitively priced if
theyre not exclusives.
I like their lived in look.
And they could be slightly better scaled than NewLine's.
