The Sculpt Looks great underneath the mask!
Man I must say one of the best looking IRON MAN figures.
wow. We better wait for the later version thought!
Have a feeling Hot Toys will release another one after the movie.
But it sure looks great!!!
Re: Hot Toys – MMS120 - Iron Man 2: 1/6th scale War Machine (official announcement)
Nice. Love the color scheme on the armor. Only critiques would be with respect to the headsculpt. Seems likenthe face sits a bit high (need side angle and film frames would help), and Don Cheadle (one of my fav actors) has much darker skintone).

Wow I think that looks great, I'll sure be buying it. As for as waiting for another version, all i can say is 1/6 fans have made a rod for their own back. By always moaning and nit picking about features and ommisions to figures, Hot Toys always feels the need to tinker with their releases all the time. Either way there must be a market for updated figure releases or they just wouldnt do it. I do however understand peoples hesitation in splashing out these things when theres a chance of a better one being released. Guess its just one of those crappy money things in life
Re: Hot Toys – MMS120 - Iron Man 2: 1/6th scale War Machine (official announcement)
Well DANGIT, there goes 200USD from my next paycheck... I was going to get the Battle Damaged MarkIV but this reeks of awesomeness. [Still might though.. since I like the design over the new suits]
I love all the little moving parts--fingers, abdomen armor, etc.
Lol, the one thing I "don't like", and it isn't HT's fault, is that the missles seem to point at your head when the launcher opens or closes XD But I guess I don't see how else it could 'move' in its current config.
And to the above comments, yeah I'd totally be annoyed if they continually do better ones than the one I bought :P

Basically I'm at the edge of my seat for 2 reasons... for one this figure looks fantastic! The 2nd reason is that I'm scared HT will come out with a 2nd version or even a DX version.
For now I guess I'll see the movie and compare any differences between the movie and HT version.
Re: Hot Toys – MMS120 - Iron Man 2: 1/6th scale War Machine (official announcement)
Definitely a buy on this side.
As for the potential for tinkered repeat DXish release? I'd say the MKIV and V (even the suitcase suit) are the stars of the movie, they're more likely to see multiple variations than War Machine.
I'd want to see if HT gives us the "enemy" machines we see at the end of trailer 2 this time around.

If you check out the the accessories pic you'll notice the jaw opens and closes, so the close up pic is with it open which makes the face look like it's sitting high in the helm but it's not.
Re: Hot Toys – MMS120 - Iron Man 2: 1/6th scale War Machine (official announcement)
I'm baffled as to why there are so many different hand selections seeing as it has movable fingers, at the worst it looks like it can't make a full fist so why not movable fingers and a fist?
Also you'd think they'd be able to make the head have the mask hinge into place instead of removable and need two seperate heads.
Looks nice though, my first good look at the war machien deisgn. The only thing I don't like it those weird triple marks no the silver panels runnig down his collar, they look weird.
Re: Hot Toys – MMS120 - Iron Man 2: 1/6th scale War Machine (official announcement)
This looks awesome, if I do end up snagging his bad boy I hope he doesn't get the dx treatment, at least announce it before I buy this one so I can choose
Re: Hot Toys – MMS120 - Iron Man 2: 1/6th scale War Machine (official announcement)
This will be available on sideshow with the newsletter but it's good to know you can already pre-order it on bbts as init zero mentioned, instead of waiting.
Re: Hot Toys – MMS120 - Iron Man 2: 1/6th scale War Machine (official announcement)
Another one of those, damn i really want it. But can i justify the price things. I mean its a static figure for me, i cant change the clothes and equipment without "ruining" it.
I think i wait and see how the final price will be 230$ is out of the question for me.
