Graeylin's collection: don't even think about it with dial up...
We just upgraded my wife's collection to nicer Detolf cabinets, and so i got her previous display shelves for my collection. After cleaning and re arranging them, i decided to take pictures. This is my collection, circa 2010, as displayed in my room. (there's 40 or so stored in non display boxes in my closet, and a dozen on display at my work, but this is most of my collection).
Most of it isn't fantasy, but there's enough fantasy to make it legal for the guild halls.
Hope you enjoy a peek at my decade of collecting (and my original, 1967 Japanese SOTW from GI Joe, the thing that started it all).
The first set of pics are my medal of honor heroes. each figure represents a unique, single person (or in one case, many persons) who earned the medal of honor. I believe i have most of the great conflicts covered in the collection, from the Civil War to the most recent recipients.
These pictures tend to be grouped by a theme or style, with an occasional "not sure what he's doing there, but he's cool, so..."
the first, are my "Napoleonics" (and a doberman... I don't know why)
Next, my American Indian collection.
Ancient Rome, Greece, and Sparta (yes, the Swiss Papal Guard is a bit modern, but only by a couple hundred years)
Misc Axis figures
Fantasy for fun: Aztec Warrior and Knight/Demon
More Fantasy figures, including my Pirates, AND, the elusive, rare, and much treasured Fantasy net collaboration Figure.
Mixed figures that I like but don't fit any theme...
Police from around the world
Dutch, and my most recent prize acquisition, the Goumier figure from DML. He's not Dutch, but i wanted him in a place of coolness and honor, and right now, this is it.
Civil War
This begins my Aussies:
More Aussies
My Females in the Military collection, including TWO of the DML Amy figures... eat your hearts out!
Fantasy Females
Fantasy Mix
My Vikings
The start of my Scotsman Collection:
Wait a minute, isn't that a French Foreign Legion figure? I thought this was SCOTTISH????? well, he is Scottish... one thing for sure, he CANT BE FRENCH, not in the Foreign Legion!

Very diverse collection. I wish I could display all of my figures like that I have some BBI, Hasbro and Some 21st Century stuff but nevery would I display them together. You have done so effectively. Well done I really like your Shaka Zulu with that 21st Century headscult. Terrific.

Really great collection, there B-man. I was wondering if you carry any kind of insurance. The Samuria alone are big ticket items. My current favorites are the Red Coats and the Napolionic troops, I like all their Bling. I've been thinking about adding some to my collection.
You should give us a peek at your wife's collection, which is pretty impressive on it's own.
Good stuff.

ka-dang! I'm blown away-- what a spread! excellent collection, lots of rare figures, it looks like.
and so cool you found a way to display them all.
(also, I hope you have an endorsement on your insurance policy
that would cover a collection like this... wow, come to think of it, I don't!)

I'm suing you for the repetitive stress disorder I just got from scrolling through all those pictures! ;-)
Amazing, diverse collection. I liked the "dios and fun scenes" the best and that muddy Brit airborne jeep.
