Urban Samurai Hobbies - In Pictures
Now that Urban Samurai actuall has a mall store I thought it was about time to show some images of the shop itself so you can get an idea of where you are shopping, even if it is on line!

This is the shop itself as you see it from the mall. Someone is normally behind the desk but as I was taking the picture there was not any way I could be behind the desk as well.

The front display has a little 1/6 in it with the That's My Face figures which get a lot of attention. It is funny how many times someone stops, looks at the figure, looks at me, looks at the figure, looks at me, then points at it saying 'That is you right?'. It always get a good laugh.

We have partnered with another company who carries Transformers. You won't find them on OUR site but there is a link to another site which is full of Japanese import Transformers.

Not 1/6 but having a passion for Gundam means we have to carry it as well. Our selection changes all the time and we are always around for tips and building techniques.

Our primary 1/6 display cases. Not nearly enough room and I think it will get crowed very soon. It is great to see your average customer come in. Ask about Iron Man and then cringe when you tell him the $200 price tag. Not everyone knows the price of quality. Oh Hot Toys, why do you have to make such nice expensive items?

We have a small case with just a smapling of our loose product. With over 2000 unique items on hand at any given time, there is no way of ever displaying them all. This is a fairly good assortment of the types of loose items we carry and it always gets people ready for a conversation.

One wall of 1/6 product. Modern, WWII, Movie, and a few other random items.

Our Female, more WWII and Movie items here.

A little sparse after the holiday season but this was fully packed with clothing at one time. Soon to be filled again.

Our front counter. You can see some of the bins behind the counter with 1/6 parts, bodies, and other large items. Also behind the counter we keep all our smaller loose items for you to browse at your leisure.
I hope you enjoyed this small tour of our shop. It is not huge and it is not jam packed so you can't find anything but it does have lots of character. If you are ever in Vancouver please feel free to stop in and say Hi, even if you are not here to shop but just in the area. Someone will always be ready to assist or just to talk about the hobby in general.
Feel free to comment and leave feedback. There is no way we will ever get better if no one tells us what we are doing incorrect.
Have a great day.

Re: Urban Samurai Hobbies - In Pictures
Thank you for showing Urban Samurai Hobbies, it is very impressive and presented in a very accessible and professional manner. Well done. Before seeing your store, I visioned Urban Samurai as a garage packed with stock and a small area for working.

I'd kill for you to have a store near me. How cool is that? Come to work and spend some of that time messing with toys, and even maybe a kitbash or two.
Great pics! Thanks for sharing.

Reminds me of the old Legends store, but even better.
I like the female Stormtrooper in the display case.

Great looking shop. Would love to see more etailers with a brick and mortar shop doing this.

Doesn't that just suck that you have to have such a great place, but it has to be about 2000 miles away... Damn!!

Re: Urban Samurai Hobbies - In Pictures
Wow, thanks for all the great comments guys. To answer a few of your questions, we are located in Burnaby, BC, Canada. That is right next to Vancouver, to name a larger city. We are in Lougheed Mall. Any more detailed info can be found on our site at Urban Samurai Hobbies.
And a closer shot of the That's My Face figures.
Again, thanks for all the kind words. USH has gone through many changes over the last 5 years but I think this is one of the best.
Spencer.

Since then they have added sculpted hair and also sourced out wigs small enough for the heads. Now there is a lot more options when it comes to finalizing your figure.
