Yeah paint peeling and the heads being deformed seems to be a problem. This is why I don't understand why people feel the need to pay nearly double price to get the first small batch of Hot Toys local store figures which do sometimes have manufacturing errors that are long since fixed by the time the international orders are shipping.

Please note that the first batch of DX Batman is only available in Hong Kong market and not all goods have such issues. These are just the very small first batch only sold in their physical HK store and there's been problems more than a few times in the past with those. It's almost like they use that as a sort of public beta test.

And everyone freaks out and screams bloody murder and then it gets fixed and customer service is busy for awhile. :P
Whether or not it gets alleviated in the next batch, this sort of problem down the line is the main reason I haven't jumped on getting myself a Bats.
I don't trust these rubber suits after all the myriad of problems I've seen others have in the past, aside from the hindered articulation, but that said, I don't know how else they'd do it..
I don't think I'd like solid molded armor/body part pieces for Batman like how Iron Man was made. I still expect the suit to be able to come off for whatever reason :P [Still want that gunmetal iron man though :P]

I think Hot Toys will make this right judging by the speed of their response. They have very good QC and are aware of the problem and will make improvements. Now we wait for the results. I will keep my preorder for now.
Also just received my MKII Iron Man, simply amazing. Be careful with the joints though they can stick a little.

HK Fans got his improved or fixed body claimed by HT. The rectangle box in photo means that this body is exchanged on Dec 30. Now, we show the how improvement of the quality that HT has promised to us! I think that the quality is s......o so so "good" to maintain not more a single day! Coating Peeling is starting. Batman DX Battle Damaged Version is developing. This fan only set the several pose.
P.S. This poor customer has changed his batman SIX times! DX Batman, you hit the record!

I don't know, but has it occurred to anyone that returning it immediately for another [or another or another... and so on] of almost the same batch would result in nearly if not exactly the same problem?
Damn hope HT is checking all of their stock and halting production by now and alleviating everything.

I got the photos of another customer who had exchanged his batman after Toys Hunter suggested customer to exchange claimed fixed body in facebook yesterday. The coating peeling is still serious. The rectangle box means that this customer had exchanged Sonar Eyes head an......d body on Dec 30. The result is so obvious. The problem is not fixed yet.

It suck for me who bought my batman through Yahoo Auction... Hot Toys required a "receipt" for proof of purchase, which I don't understand. How am I suppose to have a receipt for an auctioned item?
