Hot Toys - MMS116 : IRON MAN - 12” Tony Stark collectible figure (Mech Test Version)

The 1/6th scale IRON MAN Tony Stark specially features:

- Newly sculpted head with authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark in the movie IRON MAN
- Approximately 30 cm tall figure
- ABS material TrueType body with newly designed chest, forearms and forelegs
- 34 points of articulations
- Two pairs of interchangeable hand palms
- LED-lighted heart device, hand gauntlet and boots (battery operated)**
- Real-like mechanically wired hand gauntlet and boots
- Each piece of head sculpt is specially hand-painted

Hmmm I don't know, something about the headsculpt is a little off, not quite as Downey jr as some of their other work, in any case I hope their working on these doesn't hold up iron man 2 figs. I'm dying for a war machine!

Ooops... but it's not quite as important in the greater scheme of things (I mean within the story... it's a small plot device)... and lets face it, with IM2 round the corner, you know Tony wouldn't peg it in the first one!

That is a beautifully done figure even if it does end up being a very unique niche. It hits the link in the evolutionary chain between the MkI and MkII suits for all the completists. It's also the best Tony Stark HS to date from HT. BUT ... will the DX version come with the scorched paint Shelby Cobra (which later broke his fall in the MkII)? :o)

The robotic arm is Jarvis.
In the comics Jarvis was tonys butler but they decided to make him a robot in the movie
