Definitely needs a second screaming head or something. The stare doesn't really work with any of the action poses.

The rubber body looks really interesting, though. Especially the pose where his arm is fully extended over his head, wonder if it'll actually be able to do that in the end.

Hot Toys would make a killing if they released that body as a carded set, its perfect for a Roman Legionary figure for example.

Proportions looks great. Still stupid that it's a rubber body. Otherwise it looks really good.

edit: IF they do a screaming head (and they should) it would be nice if it had the cut across the eye. I actually would prefer the normal head and helmet to both have that as to me that's the iconic Leonidas look.

pretty sharp... and yes a second screaming head would have been a good ( and obvious ) accessory... regardless, I am sure 300 fans will really like this one... now. I wonder how much these new bodies will fetch on the secondary !

I like how the set looks but I will be passing on this, mainly due to price. I'm not that nig a fan that I have to have it. I agree the body looks great, but I doubt it can do the poses they pictured here.

wow... $220 ?!?! yup... that would be absurd.... even if HT did the most perfect 1/6 Indiana Jones ever.. I'd still have serious problems dropping $220 on a mass produced figure...

The $220 is based on that magazine promo with the distorted image which is based on the price listed there (19800 yen) which at current exchange rates is about $220. I would not be surprised if that price is not anything close to what US buyers will finally pay.

The DX TDK was around that same price in yen in a similar promo and you can pre-order it at a lot of retailers for about $160.

Anyone who has the HT Abe Sapien could also attest to this, but the arms on him have plenty of flexibility. I think that's because the rubber skin on them is so thin, so maybe with Leo there they developed a stocker under frame so the skin could be much thinner and allow for much more movement?
