Dear Collectors,
Here we go the 1st batch of pictures of production sample of our brand new 1/6 collectable series " MUSEUM " !

The 1st item is 1/6 Scale Roman Myrmillo Gladiator Helmet #ACI-409
They are made of Real Bronze Alloy, in 1/6 scale. There's protection coating over the helmet and it won't be oxidized.
Number produced will be very limited because of production factors(not because of marketing reasons) If the demand quantity is big enough(but not too big because it's handcrafted one by one and cannot be re-produced in huge qty.) , we are very pleased to satisfy it! But it will take time.

The 1st run is about 200 pcs.(should be less), with a stand and packaging box.
The one who ordered the helmet will automatically be our VIP member.
- extra $10US of member registration fee is including in the shipped price(TBA), and the fund will be donated to ORBIS Hong Kong.

- Purposes of Membership:
1.is to facilitate better communication with customers
2.is to let most customers could buy our products
3.is to protect our R&D efforts
4.is to avoid over-production
(I hope to leave a "ok" environment to my lovely daughter also all other children in the world)

We have the production sample already and it's on production line. We will have news very soon about the black boots!

I was half right/half wrong on it. It wasn't for dealers but selected individuals. So I'll just add a 'See told you so

Dear ACI, Thanks for taking the time to post, and for offering some really cool toys. As you can see from the above commentary, some folks view the VIP idea as elitist doo doo. I however like it!! Will there be a VIP only suite filled with girls and watered down liquor like in other clubs?

That being said please note that no matter what you do someone somewhere on this board will not agree and start crying like a small girl child. I keep a crying towel right next to my computer for those times I feel the need to complain loudly about things no one else but me cares about. As a complaining commando, I believe it's my job to be prepared and set a good example for others.

On a more serious note, I'm assuming that a piece of this nature will be a limited run because of cost and a smaller Customer base for said product, yes? Even so I'd like to offer a suggestion that you offer these through the regular channels which would keep us old dogs happy not to mention the retailers who first took a chance on you and introduced this community to you and your products in the first place.

Once again great work! Now wheres my table?

I agree. This VIP system would only cause lots of items being sold for big bucks on ebay, and I can hardly see your profit in that. Just making it a very limited run for everyone would be a lot more fair.
Imagine I am interested in a... I don't know... gladiator (hypothetically speaking) and I managed to sign up as a VIP. I get my hands on this figure and see lots and lots of folks get desperate because they missed it. The next figure is a ballerina armed with spoons and a lawnmower, which wouldn't interest me. I might as well buy it and make a killing on ebay! Say no to scalpers!

Not quite sure I understand the concept of a VIP - I mean, if it's a question of limited runs due to cost/profit margins, why not offer the limited run to the open public in the first place? I don't see how a VIP status is different in terms of product pricing than just selling to the little people at the same price.

Maybe I am just missing something.

As I could say, this is not our purpose to alienate nor differentiate our customer base. On the contrary, we want to expand our customer base and raise our brand popularity. In fact, I know you guys have your comments and suggestions which mean at least our product would create some interests from the community

! As I could tell, the whole promotion compaign is not confirmed(your advices would be very important), nor it's completely exposed. So, please give us some more time to let the compaign shown to you all. If there's a complete figure of "gladiator" ??, it won't be a exclusive one. It will be available to all public. (surely we want to sell more).
However, the series " MUSEUM " would be minor different things to the current 1/6 market. It's never happened before I think, and this is a kind of product which hopefully be interested by collectors other than the existing 1/6 figure community. This could be also our task to attract more come to the 1/6 community which is fun , professional, realistic and authentic(this is the words many collectors including myself emphasizing). So, we want to do something different of our products, and the marketing would be a bit different!
I myself been a fans of DML products before, the way DML worked is not my want and doing(I have no comments at all

). I promise it will not be the way they did definitely.

Well because they can. And as far asfor the idea " it won't work," DML proved that to be a myth now haven't they? Does it suck the long and stinky? yes it does. But as long as it works we'll never be free of it.

I do hope ACI watches how this works out and adjusts accordingly, But I'm not ready to condemn them juuuuuuuuuuuuust yet.

Agree and agree. Other than also marketing membership in the VIP club, it doesn't make much sense to promote this piece to an audience of people who won't have the opportunity to purchase it. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing this... if only for "coolness appreciation" reasons.
