These both come in a set? If so, I think I'm interested in this. That bike is pretty cool. Wouldn't mind getting another 1 or two and paint em up different.

A refreshing change from the big Dragon. The Welbike will be most welcome. hopefully this is the start of a trend.

In the end, a quite interesting box from Dragon. A good one for loose. Of course, the Welbike is the basis of this set and a must for every British airborne fan.
Any doubt, I'll buy this one.

More spare pouches and haversacks, at least. Works for me. Glad to see some Brit attention as well.
Do we have a date on them?

Must have that bike and I need more Brits in my Army, I mean collection. I am glad they are separate sets. I won't hesitate to pick up the one figure.

No, these are regular releases and will be appearing at your dealer if he sells dragon that is.
I really like the Stens as well.

Re: New DML British Arnhem Paras – AND WELBIKE!
It looks to me that some standard issued equipment is missing from these two: Marin Hicks doesn't appear to have a canteen anywhere (or it could be hidden where the pictures don't show) and Redding doesn't have either a E-tool and carrier and a canteen. If so then these shouldn't be anywhere over $50.
I'm getting a bit tired of DML only putting out half figures and asking close to $60 per figure still when DiD and SS load up theirs with all the basic gear and then some.

That's why I was hoping at $60 or so this would be one of their "double figure" type sets. I could justify that for both of them...maybe even $65. If they're $50 each though, no way.

At the risk of being tarred and feathered for liking DML, I have to say it is nice to see a decent pair of Paras.

Re: New DML British Arnhem Paras – AND WELBIKE!
for the one with the welbike i could see playing $50 bucks or so,and the sten mkv ups the value of the other one, too- that sten was only issued years ago with thier 1st para figure, "ian", and is one of the most sought after wwii pieces.so there is something of extra value in each.
that said, i hope i can find the bike and sten loose. i have quite a few 'harry collins' smocks already (i prefer the bbi/did ones, also more aproppriate for arnhem) and lots of brit webbing and pouches so the 2 new items are the only things i really want.... but thats just me. prolly the most interest release from dragon in a long time. at least they're trying!
cheers,
rob

Re: New DML British Arnhem Paras – AND WELBIKE!
Heya, all!
Actually a little bit interested in these. Of course, I think Dragon should have gone the extra distance and included a para-drop container for the bike. I know it's been said a million times, but I would buy two copies of the same figure that were completely equipped versus two seperate figures that are lacking various pieces of gear.
I'm of mixed feeling on the "Gear +" figures... do this with ALL of your figures and your customers will laud us with praise. Quit tooting your own horn that you are actually offering a complete figure. Please listen to what your customers want, versus telling us what to be happy with.

Re: New DML British Arnhem Paras – AND WELBIKE!
Except for the bike, nothing new. Dragon could have brought in a new figure so taht those of us who have been with them since their first Brit para release yonks ago would sit up and look. Would have loved a bren gunner with the bren gun magazine pouches, or an officer with accurate belt and gear.
But the Mark iv Sten will be a welcome part to get from the retailers.

Re: New DML British Arnhem Paras – AND WELBIKE!
Hate to be a "doubting thomas", but are these figures actually going to be released - I seem to remember that one of DML's favourite tactics is to dummy up the graphics of their latest release just to "spoil" sales for rival Brands, then not put out the figure (eg - Vietnam Navy SEAL W/Stoner) - Isn't there another mob just about to release their Welbike. Coincidence? I guess time will tell.

I haven't checked today, but as of yesterday these weren't listed on the DML site (USA or main site).
