I did not care about any of the scenes involving the human actors, but all of the stuff involving the Martians was cool!! May have not been the greatest movie ever, but the Martians are just so cool looking!!

these are beyond awesome, movable eyes and mouth and they look exactly from the movie, basicly movie prop

Whyyyy did this have to come out when I'm so beyond broke it isn't even funny? This is my favorite movie ever.

And yeah I was really confused about this. I remember everybody hating the film and how it bombed when it was released. I guess that was just in the US?

I'd love to have one of these, but I'm sure my wallet will never allow it. besides listening to my Slim Whitman collection would cause his head to explode, and then what would I have to show for my hard earned dollars?

was drooling over these @ the hot toys store, hot toys @ their finest!
these look 100% spot on, absolutely perfect.
not sure if i will get one, as im kinda just spending money on stuff to kitbash (apart of the odd sideshow joe!) but i know im gonna regret it in the future!

I just gotten this piece today and it is a displayed piece from a collector at eBay. Am impressed with it until I start bending the arms (to about 80 degree) and I noticed the rubber over at the elbow over stretched a little to the extend that I can see it is rupturing. When I bend the elbow up to around 100 degree, the rubber split!
This serves as a headsup to anyone who bought this or the Martian Soldier just to be careful when bending the arm or legs.

Got these a few weeks ago from the always-awesome Viking Playground. Alexei hooked me up and they are OUTSTANDING, they look like Prop miniatures.

There is only one gripe I have: The Martian Soldier's helmet has the wider attachment to the collar of his suit, but the Martian Ambassador's helmet is a very snug fit right around his neck...this means that the Martian Soldier can be posed with his Jaw open, his tongue positioned and so on, which is really how these guys "emoted" in the movie

...but the Martian Ambassador's jaw immediately gets pushed shut by the shape of his helmet...so he will forever be a grinning skull in that helmet, or so it would appear....ah well, just something to mention if you wanted your guys in that "ACK! ACK!" kind of pose
