    Thanks!
I've used those stir sticks as well,I just don't feel right walking out with a handful of them, and I have a yard full of scraps that I can rip to whatever size I need, time I have money is a little harder to come by.

This I like! It's coming along nicely! It makes me want to go out not the woods in my backyard, scrounge up some tree branches and build me a 1/6 log cabin...lol...yea, like I have the patience for that

Now that fall is here I can finally get back out to the man cave and try to get a couple projects finished before I start another one, and since this one is rather large I figured I should get it done so I can clear up some table space! This is my half-timber garage I started last year,it will be part of a story eventually, this winter when the weeds are all dead and I can find a clear spot to set it up. There are a few small details I want to ad but for now it's done!

Last night I was continuing my fall cleaning so I could start my street scene and I came across a RV electrical control panel,I saved it because I needed one of the rocker switches, but when I got into it further I found out there were 6 small light bulbs on the board, they are the perfect size for 1/6th light bulbs! I need to get back online and find a good looking light fixture from the WW2 era that I can build!

I tried to make a lamp shade by heating a sheet of styrene but couldn't get it ti mold flat against my form, not enough heat or too much, not sure,so I dug around my work bench and came up with this,it's a condiment cup I use for mixing epoxies in and a lid off a CA zip kicker, not 100% but it works! I also added some door handle to the garage doors.

I love the detail in the roof - both inside and out. Have you considered making shutters for the windows? It would really lift the outside walls.

    Re: Construction project

When I finally build the house I will include shutters, but the windows are too close together for them on this building. This was a composite of a bunch of different buildings I found on Google, but I tried to keep it accurate to details from the pre war era for Germany, all of the timbers are cut and notched,I only cheated by using a pin nailer instead of drilling and pinning all the joints.
