Re: DEADWOOD PROJECT (Al mold being cast, 1st Bullock rendering done!)

    It needs further refinement.

From my perspective the cheek bones and the eyes requirements further work.

Others need to chime in please.

Of course!, this is the first rendering. around 10% done with no details. He also has a widows peak.

    A tad more refined?

    Could be.

I feel the details/essence in the facial appearance is still lacking of what truly makes him "Seth Bullock".

This isnt a 1 day thing. Look at the way AL looked at first and how the final sculpt turned out.. Give the sculptor some time... LOL

    I know.

I guess I'm a bit jaded with 1:6 head sculpts detailing and likenesses right now due to all the conversation from yesterday.

Heres the latest.........INPUT NEEDED.... LEt me know what you think, before he goes on..
    I think
    - the eyes need to be more "squinty" and less eye lid.
    - face is too wide
    - i prefer a pissed off look, like this...

    but thats me..
    INPUT PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eyes should be even thinner, practically slits. Progress is coming along nicely.

    Frank:

What is your recommendation for "Al"?

    With neck or without neck?

    Pros?

    Cons?

I would say no neck, because the undershirt he wears under the vest sits low and you might be able to see that neck-body gap..

    I'd say 80% to 85% . . . maybe 90%.

A bit more detailing and nuances is needed. A bit more work on the chin beard.
