I take it that is not the completed/finished sculpt?

If not, then it's a good progress thus far.

I expression is very good and I feel doesn't need to be tweaked further.

The subtle nuances in terms of detailing/facial sculpture needs to be further refined as well as the hair sculpting.

Not not yet, its still a work in progress, but so far its looking like its going to be a solid sculpt

Just my .02 cents, the cheeks are too wide from the cheek bones down. His face is wide, but not that wide... it only looks like it because of the sideburns. A slightly raised left eyebrow would be good.

I agree with most of the above point, the expression definitely needs to be tweaked though - raised eyebrow etc to add a little more life, but I know this is for down the track as the sculpt progresses. Still very happy with the sculpt so far, this is going to be great.

This is looking great. I'm wondering about the eyes though... I think the eyelids might be throwing it off a little. They give his eyes an angrier look than what he has in the show (even when he's angry). Al's eyes are usually a little less fierce than this.

I think it's the top eyelids that are too sharp, perhaps they could be flatter? I don't know if this is making sense, but look at the pics below - even though the rest of the facial features are very similar the top eyelids aren't as curved.

And the line coming down from his nose to his mouth (circled in the picture) probably needs to turn downward right at the end just before it enters the moustache. This helps to lengthen this part of his face and seems to turn downwards a lot sharper in most of the pictures.

    It's looking good Frank.

And the paint sample picture from Once Upon A Time in the West looks good.

If you have any more other pictures representing the painter's work, please post/share them.

UPDATE: Will's almost there! A few more adjustments and the eyebrows and that's all she wrote! Any more input??, please do it asap!!! AND im assuming this will be a neckless sculpt. As the long johns he wears under the suit come down low on the neck and we want to hide the neck line.. again, your INPUT is needed!!!!!

Looks pretty good. The only thing that I think might need a little more tweaking, and it's not a huge adjustment, is the difference between the left and right eyes. With the arched brow, the left eye should show a hair more lid, and the right eye should be closed just a hair more. It's a tiny thing, but it adds that much more realism to a human face.

I agree - it's looking great, but the eyes are still a little off and I think Stryker has it right with the amount of lid showing.
This image is an extreme example and it doesn't need to be to this extent, but you can easily see the difference here:
