That's a nice figure - I wonder where the field cap came from? A custom piece maybe, the brim is a different shade to the ear flaps.

I saw this on the BBICN but I can't post there, what I wanted to say was terrific work!
Everything hangs so well on him and shifts realistically throughout your poses.
I like him right off the bat, even only standing there because he's so carefully put together that he looks so lifelike and natural.

Cool figure. I am also planning on making this figure into a Marine when I get it.

And yes! This is the first bash I've seen using items from the new Soldier Story Korean War product using the Marine-style pile hooded winter coat. And it's a beauty of a presentation Well done & thanks, Neighbor 13 A very nice tribute!

Did you customize the field cap with the pull down ear covers? I got mine from Matsu@be.

    Cheers!

One fine Marine! This is exactly why I am so excited about Soldier Story releasing their Korean War figure. The potential seems unlimited. I wish they'd do the same with a Commonwealth soldier. Many of the other UN troops could be scratched together, and there was the PLA soldier from this period.

Cold don't even start to describe what these guys experienced. My old friend Jim was a Navy doc, and one of a bunch who volunteered to walk in to meet the Marines coming out.

Mike, you could just swap the helmet on this figure for a green Royal Marines beret and you'd have a Royal Marine from Force Drysdale who fought alongside the USMC at the Choisin.

"One U.S. Marine spoke for most, if not all survivors of the "Frozen Chosin": "I walked into Hagaru from Yudam-ni where I learned that the British had supplied us with a fighting force. Before that we laughed at the words `U.N. Forces' because we had not seen the troops of any other nation except the Chinese. I was delighted to meet the British. When they came around you could stop looking for a fight, because they would be right in the middle of it...."
