    Death Angel & Death Rider

Damn, i REALLLLYYYY NEED TO STOP playing with dolls and finish my 1/1 work!!!! obsesssssed!!!

    ahahah anyways,

The Angel of Death is a very frequent recurring character of mine so i decided to make her into proper 1/6th form.

This is my first attempt at a complete head reroot. friggin PAIN IN THE ASSSS!!! (the parting of the hair was the most difficult for me, and it didnt turn out as nice as i'd hoped). also my first attempt at a facepaint (i did this head before sniper wolf, you can see this ones not as nice)

    Her loadout:
    repainted/rerooted CG "Shadow" head
    CG PB body
    CG "Destiny" black gloves
    Triad bodysuit and boots
    Joanna Dark shoulder holster/PPK
    HT M9
    Custom angel wings
    Custom made leather skull belt

    ----------

And here is Death himself, aka The Pale Horse Rider of the Apocalypse. Fully dressed in Skull Squadron gear. I still have to paint his horse and finish the other 3 Skull Squadron Apocalypse Riders/Horses.

I chose to use a super anorexic skinny body/crooked posture to make him appear more sinister and grotesque.

    His loadout:
resin skull head from Monsters in Motion
Obitsu Skinnyman body wth modified BBI gloves
tailored BBI jumpsuit with ink jet patches
Custom "Solid Snake" style shoulder rig made from HT parts
Armoury rivet belt with BBI pouches
    custom leather straps
    repainted 21c M11
HT .45 auto with leather holster
    BBI knife with sheath
    Newline Brit Ammo boots

    thanks for dropping in!

    thanks guys

i made the wings by first printing out a "butterfly shaped" template i made in Illustrator. then i traced it over a piece of lexan (used left over Hot Toys box packaging). i glued the feathers one at a time with GOOP craft glue starting from the inside, out. you need at least 2-3 layers in varying lengths at intervals.
i got the feathers from Tasseltryst on ebay.

Wow your Angel of Death is a hottie, she looks like she could be a X-Men member. Youve done an excellent job on The Pale Horse Rider of the Apocalypse as well. Both figures are top notch in my book.

I love the DEATH character! awesome work....I keep wondering what he'd look like if the clothes were more aged and ripped!

This is inspirational work, and the wings are something else! I think her Face is awesome, if you're not happy with that...then I really need to rethink my skill level!!!!

Cool figures--very stylish. Good idea using that skinny body. It creates a very effective look for Death.

    Bloody brilliant!
Death is amazing, love that pose, and his outfit looks great on him and for the character.
The angel is fantastically done. Love those wings! I've wanted to do some wings for a St. Michael figure for a long time...that's how good I want it to look
    Fantastic job, man.

    ILLLLLLLLLLLL !

The angel wings are f!ckin' BONKERS, and the DIY SLAYER & CRASS patches are a nice touch on rider.

    Keep up the twisted work!

    thanks for the comments everyone.

    PSCMATT,
yeah.. she's actually loosely inspired by Lady Deathstrike (kelly hu version). i wanted that exotic dark assasin look, how she is in the xmen movie.

    silas loki,
thanks, i didnt mean it like that though. i am actually pretty happy with how it turned out overall. it was mostly the parting line in the hair. i know it could have been done better (a little messy, trying to avoid scalp exposure) but i think its ok. ive seen reroots on here and the hair just looks flawless.

    william,
hahha thanks, yea skull squadron are huge slayer fans.

AP, you called me insane. No, I think you are really insane!!! Something I can't tell when I look at your bashes. I feel there is something inside that I do not have a good word to describe. Maybe "Impactful". Well, great execution. Top notch quality and truely masterpiece. I like your choice of body shape for Death that really gives a spooky feeling of that character.
