    1/6th Cowboy/Western clothing ??

I'm going to do a custom of Kev Costner in Open Range, I've seen the scarcity of any suitable kit online, does anyone know of some secret manufacturer ????

Sideshow's Six Gun Legends series comes to mind. Some of the sideshow Civil War parts would also be usable. There's also the Yamato bounty hunter Jim, and Dog Soldier makes a few items that might work. Some of the vintage Marx johnny West items might help, like cowboy hats and six shooters.

http://www.buildawarrior.com/ has some western items loose.

The Yamato figure has crappy boots, a not-very-convincing pleather gunbelt, and crappy vinyl chaps. His Colts, though, are actually my favorite that I've got (I always felt the Sideshow Colt was out of scale), but the cylinder's shaped kinda funny so that there's a little gap between it and the gun frame. Build a Warrior has one, and Old Joe Infirmary has a silver one with the gunbelt.

Otherwise there's eBay, and this guy whose guns look like Johnny West casts in pewter (but it's a US seller). His leather holsters might add a touch of class.

And leather chaps don't seem like they'd be that hard to make. Well, at least Mary makes it look easy (down near the bottom, "western figures").

Hope that helps, good luck with your figure!

edit - whoops! You asked for clothes, and I got carried away with the guns. Sorry!

    HOLY CRAP!

Maybe I'm speaking from the POV of a guy with fingers too big to do 1/6 work but this stuff's INCREDIBLE!

And it seems like his prices are completely reasonable.

I might have to hit him up for some custom work for a 1/6 Roland of Gilead.
