These aren't too shabby, I like the wall and railings and the manhole cover but that Ameican style fire hydrant looks a little out of place. I really like it though. I may be totally wrong, maybe the Germans used those.

That is a really good feature, I also like that the wall is reversible so you could put two together. I wonder if they'll add sections without the posts?

Of course, I also wonder just how much these will cost?

It's hard to make mass produced dios NOT look like mass produced dios.

I like the idea of the dogs. Nice to be able to get these things loose without dealers being forced to part out boxed sets all the time. Having said that, the snarling dog does look like they simply 'cloned' DML's original piece from a while back. I would have liked to see something more original.

I think both those dogs are Dragon clones. Snarling is from a Russian, and other looks like the one from the German officer with the eyepatch.

Re: New from SCALE STORE: 1/6 scale scene & scale object

^I agree, I think at least 2 of those dogs are copies of DML's? One is Laika [the snarling one], and the closed mouth one; though I've seen the open mouth panting one before, maybe TUS?

The set pieces look nice overall. I like the modular incentive to buy more but they really need to clean up the first one so it doesn't just look like its made of foam--and on that note I hope they aren't; the statuary needs some weathering as well.

cool idea, but is this really VeryHot under another name, if so why?? Are they copying some one elses product. dont get all these companies using different names...and although these bases look good, it will all come down to price...cause as shown in many threads here, anyone can put together a good looking base with a little work....

i like the modular concept. with a little repaint they can look different and not mass produced. hopefully, they are light. otherwise, the shipping will be horrendous.

Re: New from SCALE STORE: 1/6 scale diorama scenes & scale objects

A lot of companies over here operate under different names to introduce products for different markets. It is their way of developing "brands" for specific themes or product lines.

But in anycase, it is very hot ... just look at their "about" page to verify.

The photos may be foam prototypes to demo the products. Irregardless of what materials they use, they have to balance cost vs quality of the product.

It is not expensive to mass produce these type of things here if they get it right.
