Eastern Block PMC on a budget Kitbash

    Hello Folks,
I was playing with some bits and put together this kitbash from some "higher end" gear and a new figure body I had in the store. My idea was to have a nice kitbash figure that most collectors could afford. The whole figure can be done for less than $60.00 shipped. I'm not sure he could be listed as any certain military unit, but he would make a great PMC. Everything in this kitbash is new but the pants from 21c I got from Has. The body, Head & hands are from TTL. Sweater and boots from ACI, Vest from BBI and AK-47 from Soldier Story. Total cost before shipping $51.75. I think he came out pretty nice. Tell me what you think,

If I were going to go further with this guy, I'm not sure I'd add much more gear. Maybe a camelback and a side arm. I found a nice Tok from a dollfigures set I think I'd give him. Mostly I would just do the normal customizing things, sand and dull coat the body, paint and wash the gloves, wet the cloths to give them a better fit, etc....
But for a basic kitbash I'm happy.

    Thanks for looking,

    Paul

    I like him.

Plus, this is the first time I have actually seen that new TTL figure outside of promotional photos. I was thinking of getting one but was holding off until I saw some "real" pics of one, so thanks for that as well.

I don't know if I'd call ACI cloth boots "budget" boots, but they really kick that figure up a notch...

....he probably needs a helmet...or balacava

    Thanks folks,
I don't know about a helmet of balacava, but I may add a stocking cap and some bodyarmor. But we'll see. The only thing I'm not happy with on the TTL body is the wrist pins. They are way to short. I'm working on making longer ones for the one body I added to my collection.
