To foster a continued positive environment for our members and guests, and to protect them from being subjected to the increasing amount of spam posts, new users are restricted from posting for the first 24 hours after account activation. For another 24 hours after that, posts are moderated.

These precautions are usually enough to thwart the efforts of spammers, and helps to filter them out and separate them from you, an actual hobbyist interested in 1:6 collecting, kitbashing, and customizing.

Moving forward, normal permissions are granted after the 48 hour 'incubation' period.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this vetting process, in our efforts to ensure a comfortable and pleasant environment for you and all our members.

Beginning today, here are some new posting guidelines for Dealers (and Distributors and Mfgs too):

We make a distinction between "new product announcements" vs "new product arrivals"

- New product Announcement: someone lets everyone know about a new product coming over the horizon
- New product Arrival: a dealer letting everyone know (in the Dealer Section) about new products in stock

** In the _General Discussion_ area... **
**********************************

Dealers & Distributors (and Manufacturers that sell retail)
- can post new product Announcements
- can answer questions specific to the product
- can NOT answer questions, nor mention any activity, specific to their business (grey area, tricky, and will handled at the staff's discretion)

Manufacturers
- can post new product Announcements
- can answer questions specific to the product

- CAN answer questions specific to their business

Continued abuse of any these guidelines could result in the temporary revocation of posting privileges. Sponsors that support this hobby by supporting this site are also advised to mind the guidelines, but may be given more latitude. If you have any questions, please contact Ronin Six.
