Warrior Dash
Warrior Dash
Has anyone here tried this recently? Theres a few other races out there that are similar, like Spartan Race & Mudders. A coworker and I have signed up for the 30th of this month. Looks like alot of fun. My only goal is to complete it in 1.5 hrs LOL.

Re: Warrior Dash
They held one in the KC area, a couple of cousins of mine ran it. Casualties: Two dead. The heat that day was no doubt a factor, one of the dead was reportedly quite fit.

Re: Warrior Dash
Enjoy. I wasn't able to participate in the NC event in August as I needed to get over here to make some money, but it was well-attended and based on the fact that my Wife's hairdresser completed it (his head wasn't even muddy in the pic I saw), I figure that it's quite "doable".

Re: Warrior Dash
Yeah, we are looking forward to it. Aside from the Green Spartan race (they have different levels of difficulty including a 24hr race in Vermont?), it seems doable and close to were we live.
Plus free beer at the end!

Re: Warrior Dash
Finished it!! Never ran any kind of race or marathon before and manage to do the 3.1 miles in an hour & 4mins. The obstacles were very doable physically.
Here is a pic of my coworker and I after the finish line.

Re: Warrior Dash
Some peeps had some crazy costumes there! And some women, barely anything. Which, if you could run near one I would think would of been an incentive to keep the pace .
Goal next year is to do it within 30-45mins!!
