Thumbs up Seal Team tv series

I've just saw the first four episodes and 'till now I have to admit I was intrigued: it has something of the series The Unit / Strike Back where you follow the Tier 1 Guys through their missions (from ship boarding to HAHO) and see some aspects of their personal life, without being a soap up to now.
As for the setups and uniforms (yes, besides other specialized uniforms, they have a mixtures of aor1, aor2 and multicam!) to me they look so much more realistic as Navy SEAL than on the SIX series.
    What are your impressions?

When I read the synopses of several episodes (which can be misleading out of context), I gave it a pass. Then billpete recommended I try it out. That was enough for me. So far, it has been pretty good, without too much added contrived drama, like other series. Like you say, some good mission stuff and gear. Th overwatch sequence was convincing, I thought, showing cramped conditions, setting watches, getting sleep. Not the glitzy, cinematic stuff, but better PR for the SEALs than many productions.

I think one of the reasons it has some sense of accuracy and interest is because of the producer ( and Trent on the show) Tyler Grey, Ranger and SOF operator medically retired after a raid in Baghdad

Sure they got the characters right, the way they interact with each other and their general behavior. The action scenes look realistic enough and the cinematic look (including their equipment) too.
Do you know the name of the producer who was in the SOF?

Ahem, sorry I just misread the message: in the imdb Tyler Grey is only listed as an actor and technical advisor, not as a producer.

No sweat, Lee (Nick Fury 2002) is a pretty reliable source, in my book.

Watch the opening credits. its one of the last one that pops up. I also heard about it before filming while following him and larry Vickers on facebbok and Larry's Youtube channel
