I love Philippines! just got back from a 2 month trip with the wife. stayed in makati area alot, but didnt really find anything good for 1/6 there. Not that I was looking but we went to every major mall in manila. Shangrila, Mall of Asia, Glorietta, Greenbelt, Rockwell, etc.

If you go to Ayala Center/Glorietta mall, there are a couple collectibles shops outside on the perimeter. I dont remember the name of the shops, but they are across the street from Northpark (a restaraunt) , you can see the collectibles in the window from the sidewalk. They had HT predator, a couple of SSC SW figures, Kotobukiyas and a bunch of other stuff. Keep in mind the prices are way higher than in the states.

You're better off going to Hongkong if you want 1/6 figures...its too expensive here..Anyway here's a couple of shops which carry 1/6 figs

Hot stuff has closed shop.

1.) Greenhills shopping center

- Virra Mall 3rd level: Special Toys Center (all DML, lots of loose from old releases, but a little pricey), opposite to it Best Toys (A few armoury, figs., Side Show Toys- some old stuff Bond figs. and mostly Star Wars).
- Shoppesville: 3rd level- Patrick's toy shop and a few others with loose stuff; not much though.

2.) Makati

-Park Square 1 (the one near Shoe Mart Mall): Lil's Hobby shop - you'll find DML and 21stC and a few other brands; very cheap but no loose stuff.
-Greenbelt: at the Pasong Tamo side, you'll find a Best Toys branch along with a few other toy shops at the area where they sell cellphone accessories and women's imported clothing in shops ala Hong Kong style.

"Special Toys Center" aka "Hobbitoi" has the most branches- SM North (basement), Alabang Town Center, Ali Mall, Eastwood area, SM Fairview, and main branch in Sta. Cruz (it's where you'll likely find the owner- Winston Chua).

"Best Toys"- has branches in Makati (Greenbelt) and Virra Mall. I don't know the other branches' locations.

"Lils"- has branches in SM megamall basement, Park Square, Harrison Plaza (Manila)

"Toy Kingdom" (found in most SM malls), the local version of Toys R Us also sell some DML (old releases), and some other cheap action figure (forgot the brand). A bit pricey here though.

That's about all the info I have, but I hope it helps.

Hey guys in P.I. Have you been rudely treated by STC salesladies? It seems everytime I look around and ask to see some products and not buy I get the rude treatment like slamming of stocks and the like.. I wonder if the owners know of this. Its not isolated in fact it happens a lot especially if they rotate people and salesgirls not familiar with me just treat me badly..Like earlier today, I wanted to buy some mononofu swords but changed my mind after getting the "treatment"

Ganun lang talaga sila. Since I've started seriously collecting 1/6th dyan na ko bumibili, halos kilala ko na silang lahat. Either they're bored with their job or a usually slow day for them. Just do what you want to do, wala naman magagawa mga yan e. Bayaan mo sila, it's their job to do what you want them to do; afterall, the costumer is always right, d ba? You can e-mail Winston Chua, the owner, if you want. I forgot the e-mail add, sorry. I'll look for it and get back to you.

ive been to special toys center ali mall. i bought jones adidas sneakers. mukhang meron silang mga sneakers ngayon. i cost me 315 pesos. mahal pero wala magawa. sana naman medyo babaan nila. i found several sellers ng loose items sa internet. mura ung mga items nila. ung iba nasa lalagyan pa. kaso pupuntahan mo sa bahay. its worth the travel. sa makati lang naman.

Was ther last month. No new stuff, only old stocks, pero madami and mura. Soime hard to find figs are there and costs around 1000 pesos to 1800 pesos. Marami pang carded equipment sets, halos WW2 lang nga.

Do we have a 1/6th club in the country? I'm kind of newly converted 1/6th collector. Just started last November..

It's good that you are making your own accessories. I am trying to learn to sew and paint, would you believe? Bought a mini sewing machine too, its gathering dust now, lol.. This 1/6th hobby is definitely NOT boring.

Hey guys, let's try to keep 1sixthfigs active. I try to visit daily just to keep that one active, even posted some old works there. Yung yahoo group kasi ng pinoy collectors has gone almost dead, hope it doesn't happen to 1sixthfigs. Kahit yung forum natin dito sa OSW bihira na rin dumadalaw. yep.. jojo is right. kelangan ma sustain natin tong ating forum. i visit our sight(1sixthfigs) almost daily. actually, naka puchase pa ako sa isang member natin dun 2 weeks ago. dito sa OSW, naka online line ako daily. medyo pinag aaralan ko lang mag post ng pictures.

hello fellow Pinoys.new collector here.naengganyo kasi ako sa mga displays na mga 1/6 scale soldiers sa mga toy shops dito sa Singapore kaya i start collecting na din.i'm an airsofter sa Pinas, since hindi legal airsoft dito sa SG, i collect na lang soldiers and guns.

welcome to the pinoys' forum. A lot of guys collecting 1/6th here are also airsoft enthusiasts. There are various places here used for airsoft combat, could be jungle missions to urban assaults. 2 of my bros go to the wargames almost every week. I'm more into 1/6th, kasi medyo makalawang na mga kaso-kasoan ko e, hehehehe.

by the way,baka may hinahanap nga pala kayong 1/6th na wala d'yan sa Pinas na meron dito.post n'yo lang.

STC (special toys center) has a lot of branches. It's exclusive DML in as far as 1/6th is concerned. The new ones (regular releases) sell for around 2,800 pesos. They still have old releases, but if you really like old ones, meron sa Lil's puro sale na, about 1,800 pesos each. Walang masyadong bago dito kasi mabagal ang 1/6th. I get my stuff mostly from HK whenever I get to go there, or ask some other family members travelling to HK. Mas sikat dito mga statues, anime and star wars and such, and airsoft. Post your collections and bashes naman. Thanks.
