Enterbay HD Masterpiece Joker REVIEW
Enterbay's massive Quarter Scale HD Masterpiece Joker action figure is arriving soon and we have for you an early look. Available for pre-order at many fine retailers, such as BigBadToyStore.com and ToyWiz.com, the figure features the likeness of Heath Ledger as the Crime Prince of Crime from The Dark Knight. Check out the full review in the video below and check out new photos of this figure HERE!

Re: Enterbay HD Masterpiece Joker REVIEW
apparently this release has no end of qc issues, so at $400+, buyer beware.
1/4 scale is curious: seems limited and a space hog. if you only have a couple of pieces and just intend to display them, i guess it's interesting. it has a very nice headsculpt and i've seen a lot of very nice photos of this.

What are the QC issues? I haven't come across them yet. I have noticed the head sculpt is slightly off but so have every other Hot Toys and Medicom been to date. No head sculpt is "perfect". It still looks good enough to enjoy as a collectible toy. The only other thing is it seems to be slightly taller than the Batman and the boy is a bit lanky and tall for the character.
What other QC issues? I have the 1:4 Enterbay Batman and it's a mix of some great stuff and then some baffling low quality elements so I wouldn't be surprised about this Joker having problems too. Enterbay is not quite on their mark yet when it comes to making high end products. The question is are the problems minor enough to ignore in favour of having a pretty amazing large scale Joker figure?

Re: Enterbay HD Masterpiece Joker REVIEW
the things i have read about are broken arms, legs of varying lengths, damaged bases, face paint that runs/sticks ~ none of which seem okay to me, though buyers have been dealing with it: making mods, repainting, etc. as they are wont to do.
in terms of authenticity there's complaining about the clown shoes, but i think overall the figure looks just fine if it's nicely posed and photographed. i don't know about lanky and tall. some other collector insisted in putting their joker on a slim body because the one it came with was "too tall" for tdk joker. i think people forget that heath ledger was 6'1" and if he looked stouter it was because he was almost always hunched over in four layers of clothes including a heavy coat.
but yeah, re: enterbay's joker, i've read that it's not great quality in the materials overall.

Great craftsmenship and the clothing on the Joker is stunning. I see your designs are similar to mine, maybe you could have a look at my and we could exchange ideas. I'd say the Joker is also one of my favorite collectable.
