1/6th scale chain link fence?
Has anyone ever heard or even see 1/6th scale chain link fence? I'm thinking of starting this huge dio of a militray base to go with the quonset huts I'm MFG'ing. All I can come up with for fence is window screen.

I found some at OPSGEAR.
But really, go to Home Depot or Lowe's. Look for wall plasterer's mesh, or any of the mesh that's used by roofers.
The way to go with dioramas is to buy it for a whole lot cheaper at the home DIY store.

Thanks skypilot777
I think I'll try Home Depot. I'm looking at a 180 foot outer perimeter at 18 inches high.

I think that there may be some wedding "veil" material which can be spray painted silver as well. Look for it at your neighborhood fabrics store.
That's what I use for my 1/35 military model dioramas. For 1/6th just look for a larger "link" scale.

For stuff like that you'll pay through the nose at Opsgear, get it from the home centers or hardware stores and put the money you save into some more figures, parts or food maybe.

Re: 1/6th scale chain link fence?
I am possibly looking for chain link fences in the 1/6th scale in order to possibly do a diorama for a MSG (Marine Security Guard) at an embassy, any ideas?

GI Joe made portions of a chain link fence in one of their vietnam sets from the late 90's or early zips.

Re: 1/6th scale chain link fence?
Concertina would be of great interest to me. Plenty of barbwire out there but military grade razor wire would be a HUGE find.
As for chainlink fence Home Depot and Lowe's are your best bets. I've seen some black plastic stuff in rolls but it was short (maybe 8" wide). If you find something let us know also take down as much info on stuff that isn't wide enough and do a web search.

I think that fabric material is called tulle. It's like what Dusty from the GI Joe RAH original 3.75 figure came with.
